If you desire to be a food vendor at any of the Art Squared Arts Markets, please be advised that the City of San Marcos has a permitting process that you must adhere to.
At least one attendant at each food booth must hold a Food Handler’s Permit. This permit may be obtained by following directions found here: https://www.sanmarcostx.gov/575/Food-Handler-Training
Also, each food vendor must complete a Temporary Food Establishment (TFE) Permit Application for each month’s market that they plan to attend. The application may be found here The Event Information portion of the application has been filled out for you. Please follow the directions for filling out the rest of the application, submitting it, along with the fee, within the timeframe specified. For the original application, click here. Since there is a significant application fee assessed by the City, the San Marcos Art League has lowered food vendor booth fees from $30 to $20 to help offset the cost for vendors. You may call the City’s Environmental Health Division at (512) 393-8440 for more information.
